Farewell?

Nooo, this can not be happening! T-Minus 3 days - yes, 3 - until my departure from London. I'm extremely saddened in every aspect. However, there is one thing that I look forward to and that's my amazing boyfriend. Largely, that is the reason why I am so anxious to return home but once I put things into perspective, I really don't want to leave this city.

London is absolutely amazing! They say New York is the city that never sleeps, then London must be it's insomniac sister. I swear that there is always something to do in this city and the best thing is that it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to have money. I'm going to miss all of the free museums, accessibility to the best shopping ever, the culture, the tube, my Oyster card, British money especially the one pound coins haha, Nando's, Yog, and the friends and people that I have met here. This has been a truly rewarding experience and it was worth every single cent. If God permits me to return here, I definitely will hop on the opportunity train and know that I will pick up right where I left off and feel right at home.

London, I will miss you so much, even your shady weather until we meet again.

Though am I not excited about returning back to the States nor the concept of "reverse culture shock", I do have a few things to look forward to now that I am ready to launch my personal stylist/fashion consultant/personal shopping career. With that I have created an entirely new email account strictly for that purpose, designed my business cards, booked clients, and have networked (and plan to network with more photographers). In addition, I've also applied for a sales and management internship which I pray that I get. My interview hasn't been scheduled since I am still abroad but I hope that I can definitely speak with them once I touch down in the States. I've also been notified of a great fashion blog opportunity which I am considering applying for. Oh, who am I kidding, of course I'm applying for it! LOL. But being in London has inspired me to do so much artistically and that encompasses fashion, my artwork, my photography and theatre. This trip has given me the drive and confidence that I need to really set things in motion.

But please wish me luck in all of my endeavors! I am super excited to get things moving but I'm also extremely terrified - but don't tell anyone I told you this. OK?

Until next time, Ciao!
